Leadership & excellence

ACED Global Solutions is a London-based firm that helps organizations and individuals around the world navigate special situations. We help our clients manage sensitive and complex matters that are important to them and that require a comprehensive approach.

Our goal is to create value for our clients and those they work with. With each client, we leverage our full resources, network, experience, and expertise to deliver a bespoke solution.

The activities of ACED Global Solutions are organized into four sections:

At ACED Global Solutions, we always put our clients’ interests first. We work with utmost discretion and exclusively on a referral basis.

ACED Global Solutions is a new company that traces its roots to the turn of the millennium, when the company’s principals began leveraging their backgrounds in academia and business to offer strategic advice and financial analysis to corporate clients.

The symbiosis of academia’s analytical rigor combined with applied industry experience enabled solutions that were otherwise elusive. Most professional service providers perform a specific task or process and limit their accountability to that narrow activity, whereas our approach has always been comprehensive and focused on achieving the overall result. Our early clients benefited from this approach and from the holistic perspective brought to bear by the synergy of academia and business.

As the company’s principals developed a unique capacity to assess the true challenges faced by a client and refined the approach to create new solutions, the scope of our activities expanded beyond pure advice.

Certain client situations require capital, so respective capabilities – involving both third party and proprietary capital – were developed to ensure a complete solution could be provided. Based on extensive prior experience as licensed and registered professionals in the financial services industry, the company’s principals are cognizant of the legal and regulatory constraints on activities involving capital. Most importantly, capital is only brought to bear where any potential conflicts of interest can be eliminated.

Another area that emerged as important to our clients is operation within an appropriate ethical framework and protection against various non-commercial threats, known and unknown. Good ethics are essential to the success of our clients and also instrumental in navigating many of these threats. Corporate governance designed to uphold the highest ethical standards helps to protect companies and their stakeholders. Likewise, risk management based on ethical principles helps to protect individuals and non-commercial organizations. We developed capabilities to meet these needs through established policies and practices as well as preemptive and responsive measures aimed at upholding good ethics.

Serving our clients over the years prompted us to reflect on what has enabled our joint success. While success is often attributed to individual achievement, our fundamental belief is that it is for the privilege and opportunity we have been granted. Our most important goal is to extend, by fostering development, these privileges and opportunities to others. As we serve our clients today, and share in their successes, we channel the resources we generate as a firm towards these ends.

ACED Global Solutions was established in 2015, as a successor entity to the professional practices of the company’s principals, to institutionalize our unique approach and to deliver the highest standard of care to our clients around the world as they navigate special situations.

The principals of ACED Global Solutions bring together relevant professional experience that enables the firm to offer a broad, holistic perspective and deep, focused expertise. In certain cases, when appropriate, we bring in our highly specialized partners.

Business – the company’s principals and partners have managed operations, served in executive functions, performed board roles, and run their own businesses – spanning a wide range of industries, geographies, legal forms, stages of development, and competitive environments.

Academia – the company’s principals and partners matriculated with advanced degrees from top-ranked universities, conducted published research, and taught in multiple relevant fields at leading global and regional institutions.

Public service – the company’s principals and partners have led humanitarian organizations, worked on public initiatives, held government offices, and served in law-enforcement and the military.

ACED Global Solutions operates as a one-firm firm. Our principals, our teams, and our partners come from diverse backgrounds but share a common set of values.

ACED Global Solutions seeks to promote the fundamental tenets of leadership and excellence in everything we do. Our organizational culture is based on four principles that seek to foster these tenets.

Duty – our priority is to generate solutions, not to perform services.

As we strive to lead and excel in the work that we do, collaboration and humility enable us to best fulfill our duty to our clients. We are cautious to recognize our limitations. We seek to build on the strengths of others. We often take on a coordination role and help manage a client’s resources to drive a project towards its solution. Our goal is to achieve success for our clients.

Merit – our priority is to do things as well as possible so that we may provide our clients with the best options and navigate situations that otherwise may appear impossible to manage.

In our pursuit of leadership and excellence, we promote merit by prioritizing professionalism in our approach. We ensure that we are able to bring to bear the requisite expertise and experience on matters we deal with, which requires keen awareness of our capabilities and limitations. We promote merit through relentless perseverance, hard work, and attention to detail. We promote merit by focusing our efforts on areas that matter most. ACED Global Solutions is a meritocracy, and our people are rewarded for the success of our clients.

Integrity – our priority is to be in alignment with our clients, to be in compliance with our external environment, and to be properly structured internally.

Alignment of interests with the client is a necessary condition for our shared success. It is achieved by the deliberate avoidance of conflicts of interest. From the way we select engagements, structure the incentives, and lead the projects, everything is aimed at achieving alignment.

Compliance with laws and regulations is a necessary condition for our shared success. It is achieved through the prudent education of our people, pro-active communication with our clients, vigilance in our actions, and careful due diligence of new relationships.

Good ethics and corporate governance is a necessary condition for our shared success. It is achieved through explicit policies and practices, absolute adherence to our values, and an effective organizational structure.

Discretion – our priority is to maintain a low profile and to safeguard our clients’ information and identity.

Our clients approach us on sensitive matters. Specific measures are in place to ensure discretion.

For ACED Global Solutions, these four values are an absolute – they form the fundamentals upon which we build our organization.

Working for ACED Global Solutions is a challenging but rewarding experience. The highest level of discipline is expected from our people at all times. Humility, intellectual curiosity, and the drive for leadership and excellence define our people.

We believe that diversity is a source of strength for ACED Global Solutions. We aim to select individuals from all backgrounds and all walks of life who embody the values of the organization and help develop them into tier-one professionals in their field.

ACED Global Solutions actively recruits qualified professionals to join our global team. Current opportunities include both full- and part-time positions as well as independent contractor roles for work on specific engagements.
